A new housing management system for NHC and Local Housing Organizations
Nunavut Housing Corporation is introducing a new housing management system called IgluWeb. Built on the Yardi platform, IgluWeb will help NHC and Local Housing Organizations (LHOs) manage public housing information and services.
IgluWeb will bring more housing information and work processes into one system. It will help staff work in a more consistent way, find the information they need, and support housing services across Nunavut.
This Information Hub is the main place for NHC and LHO staff to find the latest IgluWeb information, important dates, training materials, resources and support.
Where We Are Now
Getting ready for IgluWeb
Before the new system is introduced, there is important work to make sure it is ready and that staff have the information, access and training they need.
Current work includes:
testing IgluWeb and the work processes that will use it;
confirming who needs access to the system;
preparing training for staff;
working with Change Champions who will help share information and support staff;
identifying and resolving questions and issues before launch; and
helping NHC and LHOs prepare for the change.

Mid-Sept. 2026
Business UAT begins
After the Cambridge Programs gathering, selected District and NHC staff test common workflows using realistic scenarios and identify issues or improvements.
Sept. 22-Oct. 22
Core Team UAT
The core project team completes detailed testing, verifies corrected issues and confirms readiness to move forward.
Oct. 26-30
Public Housing Train-the-Trainer | Rankin Inlet
Selected trainers and super users receive practical, role-based training and resources to support District and LHO staff.
Nov. 2 -3
Staff Housing Train-the-Trainer | Virtual
Staff Housing trainers receive separate training tailored to their roles and business processes.
Nov. 2026-Dec. 2027
End-user training
District and LHO staff receive role-based training before they begin using IgluWeb.
Early Jan. 2027
Refresher training and readiness
Staff review key processes, confirm access and raise remaining questions before launch.
Jan. 18, 2027 (to Feb 1, 2027 – phased)
Target go-live and ongoing support
NHC and Yardi support Districts and LHOs through the transition and provide follow-up assistance as needed.
What Should I Do Now?
For most NHC and LHO staff, there is no change to your day-to-day work yet.
For now:
continue using your current systems and processes unless you are told otherwise;
read IgluWeb Weekly and other project updates;
take part in testing or preparation activities if you are asked;
confirm your user and access information when requested;
plan time to complete the training required for your role; and
ask questions if something is unclear or you need more information.
